The easiest way to give to any nonprofit and share causes that move you.
After leaving Clever, I took time off to travel. While living in Tokyo with my cofounders—all friends from our Stanford days—we decided we wanted to channel our skills and energy towards a socially productive cause, Silicon Valley goldrush be damned.
Serendipitously, a colleague of ours put in touch with Garrett Camp, who was looking for a way to apply his product chops and capital for social good. After putting our heads together, we realized that there were unnecessary transactional barriers to donate to great nonprofits, and that a pervasive culture of secrecy, doubt, and fear around donating is counterproductive to fundraising for those causes.
From that, Every.org was born, a place where you can donate to any registered nonprofit as easily as you can buy stuff from Amazon, and a place that encourages you to be open and proud of the causes you donate to.
